Only Fools and Horses star Nicholas Lyndhurst and his wife Lucy are relaunching the streetwear brand founded by their late son Archie, nearly five years after his death.
Archie Lyndhurst died in September 2020 at age 19 from an intracerebral haemorrhage caused by acute lymphoblastic lymphoma, a rare condition affecting fewer than 800 people in the UK annually.
The teenager, who appeared in CBBC's So Awkward and Jack Whitehall's Bad Education, launched Fated To Pretend in 2017, inspired by his love of skateboarding and streetwear culture.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Lucy wrote: "For you, Archie, from the proudest parents alive. There are still people yet to meet you. We love you. Mama & Old Man."
In a 2020 interview, Archie described the brand as "the biggest passion project I'll ever work on," adding: "I created this brand from my own pain and from my own life."
The relaunch is scheduled for October 4, ensuring Archie's designs and creative spirit endure.
