Kelly Brook has showcased her stunning figure in a series of bikinis and swimsuits while shooting her latest swimwear campaign for Next in the sunny climes of South Africa. The presenter and model, aged 46, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share behind-the-scenes glimpses from the glamorous photoshoot, revealing not only her enviable curves but also some indulgent moments off-camera.
Behind the Scenes of the Swimwear Shoot
Looking radiant and confident, Kelly was seen enjoying glasses of Pink Valley rosé wine, tucking into giant chip butties known as The Gatsby, and sampling charcuterie boards. Her work trip afforded her the perfect blend of professional dedication and leisure, as she basked in the warm South African sun.
Stunning Swimwear Styles
In the shared images, Kelly flaunted her hourglass figure in a variety of swimwear pieces. She was photographed in a bold leopard print bikini, later relaxing on a sandy beach in a patterned white one-piece. Another snap captured her by the pool in a sexy green swimsuit, with makeup artists ensuring she looked picture-perfect for the shoot. She also posed with her team in a burgundy two-piece, affectionately calling them the "dream team."
Kelly's Body Confidence and Health Stance
As a Slim Fast ambassador, Kelly has been open about her approach to health and body image. Recently, she revealed on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast that she was offered the weight-loss jab Mounjaro by a doctor but declined it. Kelly expressed her love for her body, stating, "I love my curves, my husband loves my curves," and criticised the pressure on women to alter their natural shapes.
Mounjaro, or tirzepatide, is a prescription medication used for type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management in adults with obesity or related health conditions. According to the NHS, a BMI between 30 and 39.9 indicates obesity, while over 40 is considered morbidly obese. Kelly emphasised that while she enjoys treatments like facials and Botox, she draws the line at weight-loss jabs, valuing her body's natural form and strength.
Recent Ventures and Personal Insights
Kelly, who lost 15lbs during her stint on I'm A Celebrity last month, missed out on a place in the final after being voted off in December. She admitted to minimal preparation for the show, indulging in chocolate, roast dinners, and wine beforehand. Her decision to join the series came after challenges like running the London Marathon and participating in Celebrity Race Across The World with her husband, Jeremy Parisi.
Renowned for her curves since her early career as a lingerie model and Page Three girl for The Daily Star, Kelly continues to inspire with her body-positive attitude. The swimwear campaign highlights not only her modelling prowess but also her joyful embrace of life's simple pleasures, from delicious food to sunny escapades.
