Annabel's Festive Façade Unveiled with Star-Studded Mayfair Event
Annabel's festive wardrobe façade lights up Mayfair

The exclusive streets of Mayfair glittered on Tuesday evening as Annabel's private members' club unveiled its highly anticipated annual festive façade to a host of famous faces.

A Night of Glamour and Illumination

Singer Alexandra Burke, 37, delivered a stunning performance alongside the Capital Children's Choir, her voice filling the air as thousands of lights were dramatically switched on. The illumination revealed this year's breathtaking theme, 'The Wardrobe: A World of Wonder'. The event was held in support of The Caring Family Foundation's vital Food From the Heart campaign.

Celebrity guests including Amber Le Bon, Arizona Muse, and Rahi Chadda mingled at the exclusive gathering, hosted by Richard and Patricia Caring. The celebrations continued inside the club, with other VIP attendees such as Ugandan model Eva Apio, Freddy Carter, and Julia Restoin Roitfeld adding to the evening's star power.

Stepping Into a Winter Realm

The installation, masterminded by Tatiana Kharchylava, Creative Director of The Birley Clubs, has transformed the club's iconic Berkeley Square entrance. It now features an ornate wardrobe, its doors open to reveal an enchanting winter scene complete with snow-dusted trees and shimmering icicles.

At the heart of this magical world stands a powerful yet delicate porcelain lion. Tatiana explained the symbolism, stating the lion represents both the strength needed to protect the world and its inherent fragility. Her vision was to capture the feeling of stepping into a childhood memory, where the world felt full of light and possibility.

Fashion and Philanthropy

The guests themselves were a vision of style. Alexandra Burke looked incredible in a black bodice paired with a belted faux fur jacket and heels, while Amber Le Bon epitomised elegance in a black velvet dress with T-bar heels.

Beyond the glamour, the evening had a profound philanthropic purpose. Annabel's charity partner, The Caring Family Foundation, will host a series of fundraising initiatives over the festive period. The goal is to support its ongoing mission to combat child hunger and food insecurity in the UK and Brazil.

Since its launch in 2020, the Food From The Heart campaign has provided over 3.5 million meals to families and children in need. In the past year alone, the foundation delivered an impressive 1,027,465 meals, making a significant impact in the fight against food poverty.
