As a beauty journalist, testing new formulas is a core part of my work. Throughout 2025, I put hundreds of launches through their paces, from viral TikTok sensations to under-the-radar gems. While many were fun but fleeting, a select group of thirteen products performed so exceptionally they secured a coveted place on my repurchase list. These are the items I used to the very last drop and genuinely missed when they were gone. As we move into 2026, here are the beauty buys I will be restocking without a second thought.
Skincare Staples for a Flawless Complexion
My skincare routine was revolutionised by several key launches in 2025. For cleansing, the Tower 28 SOS Daily Balancing Gel Cleanser became an indispensable part of my evening ritual. This gentle, low-foam gel, which launched exclusively with Sephora UK in May, perfectly removes residue without stripping the skin, thanks to its soap- and fragrance-free formula.
In the morning, my routine is incomplete without the Medik8 C-Tetra Advanced serum. Launched in mid-2025, this gel-serum combines 20% vitamin C with phyto exosomes to brighten and protect, giving my skin an instantly more awake appearance. It layers seamlessly under sunscreen and makeup.
2025 was also the year I became dedicated to eye care, converted by the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal. Its blend of retinal liposomes and ginseng extract tackles fine lines and dark circles without any irritation.
For a weekly skin reset, I now rely on the Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask. Capitalising on the viral PDRN trend, this mask, which transforms from pink to transparent, delivers serious skin-regenerating and collagen-boosting benefits.
Finally, no skincare list is complete without sunscreen. While not a new launch, I discovered Isdin Fusion Water MAGIC SPF 50 in July, and its ultralight, fragrance-free texture that melts into the skin has made it a permanent fixture.
Body & Hair Heroes for Everyday Luxury
Elevating daily rituals, Saltair's Golden Hour Body Wash made every shower feel indulgent after its UK launch at Space NK in October. This oil-infused wash leaves skin glowing, not stripped, with a warm, addictive fragrance.
For nighttime body care, the Naturium Urea 5% Body Serum became an obsession after launching exclusively at Space NK in July. The 5% urea gently exfoliates and deeply moisturises, proving especially effective for those prone to KP.
In hair care, the K18 HeatBounce Conditioning Heat Protectant, launched in August, is a true multi-tasker. It protects hair from heat up to 232°C while conditioning and detangling, leaving my hair noticeably smoother and healthier.
Makeup & Tools That Deliver Real Results
My makeup bag was permanently upgraded by several 2025 arrivals. Kulfi Beauty's Badi Lash Mascara earned an instant spot following the brand's UK debut at Space NK in August. This tubing formula is smudge-proof yet removes easily, lifting and separating every lash perfectly.
For a natural flush, the Summer Fridays Blush Butter Balm in Soft Strawberry, launched in July, is arguably my favourite. It delivers a surprisingly pigmented yet effortlessly blendable glow that melts into the skin.
When Rhode launched at Sephora UK in November, the Rhode Peptide Lip Shape liner in Lift was my first purchase. Its creamy, moisturising formula and perfect neutral pink shade make it foolproof to use.
For a subtle golden glow, the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Roll-On released in May offers a quicker, less messy alternative to the original oil, complete with that iconic scent.
Finally, a tool that feels like professional tech at home: the Shark DePuffi Contrast Therapy Sculpting Tool. Launched in October, this Gua Sha-inspired device with hot and cold settings depuffs and sculpts skin in minutes, with the hottest setting being my go-to for boosting radiance.
These thirteen products transcended fleeting trends to become genuine staples. They integrated seamlessly into my daily life, delivering visible results with minimal fuss. As a new year begins, they are the beauty investments I am most confident in making again.
