Leonardo DiCaprio joined Paul Thomas Anderson, Mick Jagger, Jeremy Irons, and other stars at a London pub to celebrate the success of the film 'One Battle After Another'. The event took place at The Hart Pub, where guests included Pierce Brosnan, Olivia Wilde, Hannah Waddingham, Richard Gadd, and Charlie Brooker.
The film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, stars DiCaprio as aging revolutionary Bob Ferguson, who must rescue his daughter Willa after she is kidnapped. The movie has received widespread acclaim, with a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and five-star reviews from critics, who have called it a 'masterpiece'.
DiCaprio previously attended an in-conversation event at BFI Southbank, where he praised Anderson's meticulous approach. He recalled initial conversations about the project years ago, noting that Anderson 'puts a tremendous amount of thought into what he does' and that the film slowly came together from those early discussions.
The celebration follows the film's successful release, which has been described as a 'timely political thriller and brutal black comedy'. Critics have highlighted its genre-bending style and DiCaprio's performance, with the Observer calling it 'one of the most thrilling cinema events of the year'.
