Wayne Rooney is among the stars tipped to take part in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The former footballer will reportedly follow in the footsteps of his wife Coleen, who finished as runner-up on the 2024 series.
According to The Sun, Rooney hopes to impress his four sons by taking on the show's bushtucker trials – and is considered one of the programme's biggest signings.
Other Stars Linked to the Jungle
Gavin And Stacey star Joanna Page is also said to have signed up for the latest series. Another star said to be set for the jungle is Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson. The singer is also known for previously being a coach on The Voice UK, and took part in The Masked Singer in 2023.
Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu is among the stars linked to the show. The presenter is no stranger to reality TV and previously took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2021.
More Names in the Frame
Mariella Frostup has also reportedly signed up for the show. The broadcaster presented The Green Room on BBC Radio 2 from 2002 to 2020 and later presented on Times Radio before leaving the station in 2024.
Comedian Leigh Francis is reported to have signed up after I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly previously said they would like to see him take part. They said on their Hanging Out With Ant And Dec podcast: "If we got Leigh Francis in the jungle… and we had to stand by and watch him do a trial, let's try and make that happen."
