Victoria Beckham was seen embracing her husband, David Beckham, at the opening of her new flagship store in New York. The former Spice Girl, 52, was joined by the former footballer, 51, and famous friends for cocktails in the city's SoHo district as she celebrated the store's launch.

Wearing a strapless silk red frock that fit her like a glove, the mum-of-four posed with David, who looked every inch her proud husband in a custom-made suit. Victoria was seen lovingly draped around the former footballer, who has supported his wife's fashion design ambitions both emotionally and financially. As David grinned for the camera, Victoria stood on her tiptoes and gazed up at him adoringly.
Famous friends in attendance
Among the guests at the swanky opening was Friends star David Schwimmer. Posing next to Victoria and David, the actor looked delighted to be one of the SoHo shop's first guests. Victoria's close friend Eva Longoria also attended, looking chic in a black trouser suit as she celebrated her pal's New York success. The two have been close friends since Victoria moved to Los Angeles.

David took a selfie in front of a mirror in the store that had the words 'Always apply lipstick at the table' written on it, alongside lipstick. Victoria and David left the party hand-in-hand as they strolled through the Big Apple. The new store is a significant achievement for the former singer, who has only recently started making a profit from her fashion and beauty business after two decades of losses.
