Tommy Fury has shared an insight into his parenting style, revealing a strict rule limiting his three-year-old daughter Bambi's screen time, while also dodging a question about his earnings during a Q&A session for his new BBC podcast.
Tommy Fury's Screen Time Rule for Bambi
Speaking about his parenting approach, Tommy explained that Bambi is only allowed to use screens during long car journeys or flights. "Speaking for myself and my own children, the only time Bambi sees a screen is during a long flight or a long car journey, when I might put something on for her. Other than that, she's outside in the garden, playing in the sunshine, jumping in puddles and going to the park," he said.
Tommy emphasized his desire to give Bambi a childhood similar to his own, which was free from screens and apps. "I try to keep things as normal as possible. I really want Bambi to have a childhood like I did, and my childhood didn't consist of screens, apps and things like that. I really don't want that for my children," he added.
Family Expansion and New Arrival
Tommy and his partner Molly-Mae Hague, both 27, welcomed their second child, a son named Midas, earlier this month. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, announced the birth on June 3 with a joint Instagram post featuring a photo of their expanded family and the caption "....and then there were 4." They later confirmed the baby's name, Midas, when Tommy returned to the boxing ring.
New BBC Podcast with John Fury
It was confirmed on July 14 that Tommy will co-host a new BBC video podcast with his father, John Fury, titled What The Fury?! The 10-part series, described as the 'ultimate showdown' by the BBC, will air on BBC iPlayer and feature the father-son duo debating modern life topics. The podcast follows Tommy's documentary series Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, which ran for two series.
In the first episode, Tommy conducts an impromptu Instagram live and fields questions from followers. When asked about his earnings from Instagram posts, he refused to answer, saying: "Last one (question), how much do you get paid for Insta posts? Honestly, nosy people around." He added: "I'm blessed to be in the position that I am and that's all I got to say on that note."
