The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna, Austria in May 2026, following JJ's victory in 2025 with their operatic ballad 'Wasted Love'. BBC Studios is producing the BBC's coverage, with the Grand Final scheduled for Saturday 16 May and Semi-Finals on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May.
The Semi-Finals will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and BBC One at 8pm, with commentary from Rylan and Angela Scanlon from the Wiener Stadthalle arena. UK viewers can vote in the second Semi-Final, where UK act LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER will perform 'Eins, Zwei, Drei' before competing in the Grand Final.
The Grand Final on 16 May will feature Graham Norton as commentator, with hosts Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski. The opening act 'The Queen of the Night' will see 2025 winner JJ perform with over 40 dancers and acrobats. UK jury spokesperson La Voix will deliver the national jury's points live from Salford.
Radio 2 coverage will be hosted by Sara Cox for both Semi-Finals and the Grand Final, with Rylan joining for the final. Tia Kofi from RuPaul's Drag Race UK will serve as digital roving reporter, providing behind-the-scenes content across BBC social media channels.
Accessibility features include live Audio Description on BBC iPlayer and BBC One, British Sign Language interpretation on Red Button and iPlayer, and subtitles throughout. The UK's entry, LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, will perform 'Eins, Zwei, Drei', a song about escaping the nine-to-five grind.
