Dragons' Den Star's Twin Daughters Land Hollywood Roles Alongside George Clooney in New Movie
Skinner's twin daughters star in George Clooney film

In a remarkable turn of events that reads like a Hollywood script itself, Dragons' Den entrepreneur Thomas Skinner has revealed his twin daughters are set to appear in an upcoming major motion picture alongside screen legend George Clooney.

The business personality, who shot to fame after his memorable Dragons' Den pitch in 2019, shared the extraordinary news during an emotional appearance on ITV's This Morning. His three-year-old daughters, whose names haven't been publicly disclosed, successfully auditioned for roles in Clooney's new film 'The Wolves of Waverly Place'.

From Playroom to Film Set

The incredible opportunity emerged through what initially seemed like a casual encounter. "We were in a coffee shop and this lady came up to us and said, 'Oh my god, your kids are so cute. We're casting for a George Clooney movie - would you be interested?'" Skinner recounted to hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.

Understandably sceptical about what sounded too good to be true, Skinner and his wife initially dismissed the approach as potentially "weird." However, after verification revealed the legitimacy of the opportunity, they proceeded with the audition process.

A Hollywood Fairytale Unfolds

The journey from London to Hollywood included multiple auditions and screen tests before the life-changing confirmation arrived. "We got an email saying, 'They've got the part,'" Skinner shared, his voice filled with paternal pride. "We were just crying."

The filming experience proved to be equally magical, with Skinner describing George Clooney as "the nicest man" who went out of his way to make the young twins feel comfortable on set. The Hollywood A-lister even gifted the girls toy wolves to help them connect with their roles.

Family First Amidst Hollywood Glamour

Despite the glittering opportunity, Skinner emphasised that family remains his top priority. He insisted on being present throughout the filming process, even sleeping in the same hotel room as his daughters during the shoot.

"I'm a very family-orientated person," the entrepreneur stated. "They're only three years old - they need their mum and dad."

The proud father also shared that the girls remain blissfully unaware of their extraordinary achievement, treating the entire experience as "one big holiday."

This heartwarming story marks another incredible chapter for Skinner, who first captured the nation's heart with his passionate Dragons' Den pitch for his mop business, ultimately securing an investment from Tej Lalvani.
