Love Island Star Samie Elishi Responds to Ex Ciaran Davies' Podcast Claims

Love Island: All Stars winner Samie Elishi has publicly hit back at claims made by her ex-partner Ciaran Davies in a recent podcast interview. The couple, who won this year's edition of the ITV reality show, ended their relationship just weeks after leaving the villa, with Ciaran alleging that Samie ghosted him and ended things over the phone.

Ciaran Davies' Podcast Allegations

In his interview on the Not My Bagg podcast, Ciaran Davies made several serious claims about their breakup. He stated that communication between them deteriorated after Samie spent time with him in Wales, saying "The messages started to get very very distant. I felt the energy wasn't being matched." He further alleged that after not hearing from Samie for over a day, he called her only to have her text that she would ring back later, at which point she ended their relationship during that subsequent call.

Ciaran also claimed he had heard that Samie "wants to ruin" him and was telling people she would spread rumors about him seeing someone else. He concluded by saying they were "not on good terms" due to what he had heard since their split.

Samie Elishi's Instagram Response

Taking to Instagram in an emotional video recorded from her car, Samie Elishi directly addressed these allegations. "I want to start off by saying it's actually a bit sad that someone you once had a lot of respect for and saw in a certain light would go on a podcast and say you said things that you categorically did not," she began. "We all know that they are rumors and everyone who knows me knows that those things would not come out of my mouth."

Samie explained her perspective on the breakup, emphasizing that it was acceptable to end things given the early stage of their relationship. "Secondly, girls it's okay to call things off with someone that you're talking to or dating. Me and Ciaran were in the very early stages of dating and we got into the real world and it just didn't work. And that is absolutely fine," she stated.

She continued with a firm defense of her integrity: "If not being with someone that everyone else wants me to be with makes me a bad person then maybe I'm a bad person. But what I have been is true to myself with my feelings throughout the whole experience and coming out. You can call me a lot of things, but you can't call me a liar."

New Relationship Developments

Since the split, fellow Love Islander Tyrique Hyde has confirmed that he is now dating Samie Elishi. The pair were recently seen on a date together and discussed their relationship during a live stream with Carrington Rodriguez. When asked about the situation, Tyrique responded philosophically: "Would I appreciate it? Probably not. But I'd understand that the game is the game, innit? Everyone has their own personalities, I showed mine."

He then confirmed their relationship status, adding: "I'm someone that has to go big or go home. I decided to go big, and now she's coming home." This development adds another layer to the ongoing drama surrounding the Love Island: All Stars winners and their post-villa relationships.

The public disagreement between Samie and Ciaran highlights the challenges reality TV couples face when transitioning from the controlled environment of the villa to real-world dynamics, where early relationships often struggle to survive outside the bubble of the show.
