Rita Ora Shows Off Toned Abs During Sydney Outing with Husband
Rita Ora has showcased her impressive washboard abs while enjoying a scenic bike ride in Sydney with her husband, acclaimed actor and director Taika Waititi. The 35-year-old singer, known for hits like I Will Never Let You Down, was spotted in a sporty ensemble earlier this week, radiating positivity as she explored the city.
Stylish and Safe Cycling Adventure
Ora opted for a fashionable yet practical look, wearing a black crop top paired with vibrant red hotpants. She carried a picnic blanket in one hand as she departed from a local park, flashing a bright smile for photographers. Demonstrating a commitment to safety, she diligently wore a helmet throughout the ride, adhering to Australian road regulations.
The couple, who married in a private ceremony in 2022 after Rita famously proposed herself, enjoyed a relaxed cruise around Sydney. They made a casual stop for coffee during their journey, pausing by the roadside to savor the moment. Waititi, 50, joined his wife for this leisurely outing, which followed a recent beach day where Ora similarly highlighted her fit physique.
Insights into Marriage and Family Life
In a previous interview, Ora offered a glimpse into her relationship with Waititi, describing their bond as foundational. "Taika and I are basically just best friends and we wanted to just live in that element forever, I guess," she shared. The singer reflected on finding stability after what she called her "messy twenties," noting that being with Waititi felt "right and safe."
The pair began dating in March 2021 and publicly confirmed their romance that August, building on a five-year friendship that preceded their romantic involvement. Since their wedding, Ora has embraced her role as stepmother to Waititi's two daughters, Te Kāinga o te Hinekāhu, 13, and Matewa Kiritapu, nine.
Body Image and Personal Growth
Beyond the physical display, Ora has recently opened up about her personal struggles with body image, revealing that therapy has been instrumental in her journey. Speaking to The Sun last month, she addressed the pressures of appearance in the music industry, emphasizing the importance of self-acceptance.
"I’ve tried my best to remember that when I’m thinking: 'Oh, gosh, I’m not the exact weight I want to be,' that all of that stuff is not real, what’s real is how you show up," Ora stated. She acknowledged that others might question her perspective but stressed that feelings of insecurity are universal.
"I know when people read this they’ll say: 'Well, that’s easy for you to say because you look a certain way,' but I don’t always feel a certain way. I think that’s something to remember," she added. Ora credited therapy with helping her shift her mindset, encouraging fans to be patient with their own processes.
"I’ve just stopped honestly caring about what other people think. I’ve started to do more therapy and it’s all been my process. I tell my fans: 'Don’t worry if you haven’t got it figured out yet. No one has,'" she concluded, highlighting a message of resilience and self-compassion.
