Princess Eugenie proudly displayed her growing baby bump in a figure-hugging black dress as she attended Poppy Delevingne's star-studded 40th birthday celebration in London last night. The 36-year-old royal, who recently announced she and husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their third child, beamed as she arrived at the Hart pub in Marylebone.
Adding a pop of colour to her monochrome ensemble, Eugenie wore a shiny bright blue coat over her outfit, which also featured a black satin shirt with white polka dots. The daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson appeared in high spirits, accessorising with pink and red heels that matched her fuchsia lipstick, and her favourite £515 golden mushroom-shaped earrings from Sophie Lis.
Earlier in the day, Eugenie had worn the same black dress and shirt for a baby shopping and pampering event in Soho, but then dressed it down with a khaki £315 jacket from Anine Bing and swapped the stilettos for £72 Loci trainers. For Poppy's party, she brightened her look with lip gloss and eyeliner, and styled her auburn hair in a ponytail.
The party was a busy affair for the royal, whose father Andrew had allegedly been threatened near his home just a day earlier. Eugenie and her sister Beatrice have kept a relatively low profile since the release of the Epstein Files, but since confirming her pregnancy, Eugenie has made two public appearances this week.
Beatrice was also all smiles as she arrived at the Hart pub with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, wearing a chic suede trench coat over a shimmering outfit, while Edoardo opted for a jacket over a colourful print button-down and jeans.
The guest list was extraordinary, featuring Taylor Swift and her NFL star fiancé Travis Kelce, who had flown into the UK for the celebration. Other notable attendees included Georgia May Jagger, Damian Hurley, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, Lily James, Alexa Chung, Isla Fisher, Nicky Hilton, and Baz Luhrmann. Poppy Delevingne, who turned 40 on Sunday, was supported by her supermodel sister Cara and other family members.
Guests gathered at the Hart pub in Marylebone before moving to the luxury BoTree hotel off Oxford Street. The lavish celebrations quickly became one of the hottest celebrity parties of the year.
Princess Eugenie's official pregnancy announcement on Monday confirmed she remains part of the royal family, marking a rare piece of good news for her parents. Eugenie is 12th in the line of succession, and her unborn child will be 15th, pushing Prince Edward down to 16th. The happy news was released in an official statement from Buckingham Palace, with King Charles expressing his delight. The statement also revealed that Eugenie's sons, August, five, and Ernest, two, are very excited to welcome a new sibling.
