Prince Louis once left fans in hysterics when he refused to listen to his older sister, Princess Charlotte, during Trooping the Colour. The young prince, who has attended the event for several years, made headlines in 2024 when he was seen yawning and dancing along to 'Highland Laddie' during the Scots Guards' march.
While Louis seemed to be enjoying himself, his sister Charlotte, who is known for maintaining royal protocol, did not appear enthused by her younger brother's behaviour. She even ended up telling off the young prince, instructing him to watch the parade. However, Louis quickly showed her who is boss.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Mirror at the time that as Louis danced, Charlotte appeared to say: 'You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade.' Louis reportedly replied: 'I won't.' Charlotte then said: 'Do as you're told,' but her brother responded: 'Nope.'
The moment amused those who noticed it. This was not the only instance during the 2024 Trooping the Colour day where Charlotte tried to keep her younger brother in check. Later on the Buckingham Palace balcony, Charlotte instructed her brother to keep his arms by his side as the national anthem played. This moment was also caught on camera, with many commenting on the interaction.
One fan said at the time: 'Princess Charlotte is always in a big sister mood.' Another person commented: 'Charlotte keeping the boys in line as usual.'
