Piers Morgan's Two-Word Putdown After Harry Interview

Piers Morgan has responded to Prince Harry's admission that he wants to repair his relationships with his father and brother, branding the Duke of Sussex a "flame thrower" in a two-word putdown on social media.

Harry made the comments during an interview with GQ magazine, conducted last month in New York and released as the Royal Family welcomed the Sultan of Oman at Windsor at the start of a state visit. A spokesperson for the Sussexes said the interview was recorded in late September and that it was the publishers' decision to run it.

Harry's Plea for Reconciliation

During the candid chat, the Duke of Sussex opened up about reconciling with his family, including Prince William. "Some people don't want it to work out. I want it to work out. With everything else that's going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile - that's the key point," Harry told GQ.

He added: "Scars stick around forever. But what your perception is, and what your mindset is to those things that have happened, letting go of the past, that's something that I would encourage everybody to do."

Morgan's Scathing Verdict

Taking to X on Tuesday, Morgan tweeted: "Flame-thrower wants to make peace with the people whose houses he torched and is baffled they're not interested…"

In a follow-up post, the Uncensored presenter addressed Harry's reasons for returning to Britain. The royal explained he moved back to the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children to create "opportunities for the family."

"Being able to put the kids in a British school has meant a lot to me," the Duke of Sussex shared about his children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. "I didn't know how important it was to me," he added.

Morgan's Second Claim

Morgan furiously claimed: "Real reason: Hollywood's had enough of them so they're running out of cash."

Harry and Meghan moved from the UK to the United States in 2020, stepping down as working royals in what was an acrimonious departure. His memoir, Spare, showed the depth of the family fall out and the damaged relationship with his brother William.

Harry also reflected on the King's health, following his treatment for cancer, saying: "He's getting better".
