Olivia Attwood Opens Up About Emotional Turmoil Following Split from Bradley Dack
Olivia Attwood has shared a deeply emotional post with her fans, revealing the profound impact of her recent split from husband Bradley Dack. The television personality confessed that she feels as though someone has "stolen" her personality in the wake of the separation, which was reportedly triggered by a breach of trust on Dack's part.
Instagram Confession: Feeling Stripped of Identity
Taking to Instagram, Attwood posted a picture of a park with an overlay of text that read: "Hi dolls - I have been so overthinking posting?? So I'm ripping the band-aid off. Lol I feel like someone has reached into my body and stolen my personality (thank god I have more than one). I'm pouring every inch of what I have into work, but I don't want you guys to think I have forgotten you. I see your messages, and I love you xxxx".
This candid admission highlights her struggle with vulnerability on social media, where she previously described it as "bleeding in shark-infested waters." Attwood also shared that she has been crying herself to sleep, only to resume a normal routine when her alarm goes off at 5 a.m., indicating a pattern of emotional distress masked by daily obligations.
Life After the Split: Moving Out and Focusing on Work
Since the split, Attwood has moved out of their marital home, as evidenced by videos she posted from her move, and has unfollowed Dack on social media. She has been channeling her energy into work and fitness, sharing a mirror selfie at the gym where she sat on a mat in black workout clothing. In addition, she posted photos of her dogs, Lola and Stitch, and mentioned spending time at her sister's house over the weekend.
A source close to the couple told The Mirror: "Ultimately, it was because of a breach of trust on Bradley’s part. It crossed a line and was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak. She’s heartbroken and just trying to process it all at the moment." This breach of trust has left Attwood heartbroken, as she navigates the unexpected changes in her life, including moving into an apartment alone, which she described as being "in over my depth."
Valentine's Day Sentiments and Future Hopes
With Valentine's Day approaching, Attwood expressed her disdain for the holiday, stating on The Sunday Roast Podcast: "I hate Valentine's Day, and it's not just because of recent events. I've never liked it. I always say just get me a present." Her co-host Pete Wicks added that social media posts exacerbate the dislike, to which Attwood responded: "Oh! I forgot about social media, here come all the unhappy people you know." She concluded that her perfect Valentine's Day would involve "flowers and a gift and to be left alone."
Despite the pain, Attwood shared a message of hope and resilience, saying: "I want to be happy. I want Brad to be happy. Just one day at a time. For both of us. & anyone else who needs to read this." This reflects her ongoing effort to cope with the split while maintaining a focus on personal well-being and connection with her fans.
