Noah Kahan Urges Fans to Use Toilet After Poop Incident

Noah Kahan has issued an extraordinary plea to concertgoers following a viral incident where a fan allegedly defecated on the floor during his Philadelphia show. The singer took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday evening, writing: 'If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao.' He added: 'I've pooped my pants as much as the next 29-year-old but you guys gotta understand there's a venue worker out there with a 1000 yard stare after dealing with that.'

Viral Footage Shows Faeces on Floor

The plea came after a 12-second clip posted by account @KahanArchive showed what appeared to be human faeces on the floor under an empty seat, smeared onto a walkway. A Reddit user, FF007F, claimed they witnessed the perpetrator 'picking actual pieces of poop out of their butt and put it on the floor' and attempting to 'wafflestomp the turds' before security was flagged down. The account could not be verified, but it added to growing concerns about concert hygiene.

Record-Breaking Show with Unfortunate Consequences

Kahan played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Friday night, setting a new record with 45,341 fans in attendance. However, the massive crowd brought challenges. Fans on social media expressed disgust, with one user, Raven, stating: 'The fact that people wear diapers just to hold barricade is all the evidence I need that we should have seated pits.' Another fan, Phoebe, commented: 'It's so embarrassing when the artist finds out about this sort of stuff happening at their shows.'

Growing Trend of Nappy-Wearing at Concerts

This incident highlights a controversial trend where fans wear nappies to avoid leaving their spot during concerts. Olivia Rodrigo recently admitted she could 'smell' the nappies of fans closest to her, saying: 'That's been an experience as a performer that I've smelled.' Kahan himself joked about the issue, revealing: 'I s**t myself onstage in Charlottesville but that's because I am dedicated to my craft.'

Kahan's Other Pleas to Fans

This is not the first time Kahan has had to address fan behavior. He previously begged fans to stop stealing a road sign mentioned in his song 'The View Between Villages,' calling it 'a total disrespect to the folks who live on that road and a headache for the town to deal with.'

Kahan released his fourth studio album, 'The Great Divide,' earlier this year and is currently on a sold-out world tour, with the international leg beginning in Australia in September.
