Brooklyn Beckham Posts Birthday Tribute to Nicola Peltz Amid Family Feud

Brooklyn Beckham has shared an emotional birthday tribute to his wife Nicola Peltz, who turned 31, as the rift with his family continues. The 26-year-old posted a black-and-white photo of their wedding vow renewal at Nicola's family estate in Westchester, New York, showing the couple embracing. Nicola wore the same wedding dress her mother Claudia wore in 1985.

In the caption, Brooklyn wrote: “My dear Nicola x happy birthday beautiful girl x I love you with all my heart and I am the luckiest man to call you my wife x you are the funniest and most hard working person I know x can’t wait to stay young with you baby girl xx.”

The tribute comes amid reports that Brooklyn issued a cease and desist letter to his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, instructing them to contact him only through lawyers. It is understood he blocked his family on Instagram after Victoria ‘liked’ a cookery clip he posted, which he allegedly interpreted as a breach of the letter's terms. The legal missive also ordered his parents not to ‘tag’ him in any posts.

Brooklyn was notably absent from key family events last year, including his father Sir David’s 50th birthday celebrations, which were attended by his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz. Speculation about the feud's origins has circulated for months, with theories ranging from Nicola's decision not to wear a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding gown in 2022 to Romeo dating the ex-girlfriend of Brooklyn's friend Rocco Ritchie. None of these claims have been publicly addressed by the family.

A source told The Sun: “Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heart-breaking tale... The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately, not publicly.” The source added that Brooklyn grew frustrated with attempts to reach him via social media rather than direct communication, while his parents are said to be “utterly bemused and devastated,” believing they were signalling that “the door is always open.”

Sir David reportedly extended an olive branch by inviting Brooklyn to his investiture last November, an invitation that was declined. The source concluded: “If there is going to be any reconciliation, it will be away from prying eyes and must be done privately.”
