Miranda Kerr Transforms into Blonde Bombshell for Marie Claire Cover
Miranda Kerr's Blonde Transformation for Marie Claire

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has undergone a striking transformation, revealing a bold blonde look on the cover of the latest issue of Australian marie claire. The 42-year-old model, known for her rich caramel brunette locks, appears almost unrecognisable with a teased, back-combed blonde wig that channels the iconic style of 1960s screen siren Brigitte Bardot.

A Dramatic Style Evolution

Posing against the backdrop of the Hollywood Hills, Kerr wears a silver Louis Vuitton gown featuring intricate corseted detailing. The accompanying coverline declares "Blonde ambition: Miranda Kerr on motherhood, marriage and having more fun," signalling a new chapter for the model. Inside the publication, Kerr expresses her current mindset, stating, "I'm feeling good about who I am now."

New Jewellery Collaboration

The timing of Kerr's magazine feature coincides with the launch of her latest collaboration with jeweller Michael Hill. The limited-edition collection, titled AMOUR: The Miranda Kerr Collection, comprises nine pieces inspired by Paris, the City of Love. From interlocking heart necklaces and bracelets to elegant rings and earrings, each design is intended for gifting, layering, or daily wear.

"The collection was inspired by Paris, where even the simplest moments can feel magical," Kerr explains. "Paris holds a special place in my heart. Where many of my dreams came to life, walking the runways, surrounded by beauty, artistry, incredible creative energy."

Personal Connection to Designs

The heart motif features prominently throughout the collection, particularly in pieces like the interlocking heart tennis bracelet and matching necklace. Kerr describes these designs as symbols of connection and gratitude, revealing a childhood inspiration behind them.

"When I was a little girl, I would draw a design of hearts interlocking like the design on the tennis bracelet and necklace that I created for Michael Hill," she shares. "It's such a timeless piece symbolising how we're all connected through love."

Kerr took an active role in the sketching and design process, ensuring each piece represented the heartfelt artistic statement she wanted to convey. The collection will be available in-store and online from April 6 while stocks last.

Continuing Partnership

Reflecting on her ongoing collaboration with Michael Hill, Kerr expresses gratitude for the evolving partnership. "I'm grateful to continue my journey with Michael Hill and to see our partnership evolve in such a meaningful and rewarding way," she says. "I admire their dedication to craftsmanship and timeless design, and this collection feels like such a natural evolution."

Tribute to Sir Michael Hill

The launch follows Kerr's moving tribute last July to Sir Michael Hill, founder of Michael Hill Jewellers, who passed away at age 86. "I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Michael Hill," she told Stellar magazine at the time. "He was a true visionary whose passion and creativity helped shape a brand that has brought joy to so many around the world."

Kerr added, "I feel incredibly honoured to be part of the brand he built with integrity, passion and heart." Michael Hill International Limited confirmed his passing with a statement to the ASX and NZX, paying tribute to the celebrated jeweller and philanthropist.
