Fans of the Prime Video series Off Campus are stunned to discover that actress Mika Abdalla, who plays fan-favourite Allie Hayes, is engaged to a very famous partner.
Who is Mika Abdalla's fiancé?
Mika Abdalla is engaged to former child star Jake Short. Disney Channel enthusiasts will recognise Short as the genius Fletcher Quimby from the sitcom Ant Farm. He also appeared in Mighty Ned and Lab Rats, and more recently guest-starred in High Potential.
The couple first met in 2021 on the set of Hulu's Sex Appeal, where they played on-screen best friends who embark on a journey to study sexual intimacy. Four years later, in May 2025, Short's manager Brian Medavoy confirmed the co-stars were engaged, sharing a photo on social media with the caption: "An awesome day yesterday celebrating the next chapter for my long-time client, Jake Short and his fiancée Mika Abdalla. From set to real life – watching your journey has been a joy. Here's to forever."

Off Campus and beyond
In Off Campus, Mika's character Allie Hayes takes a back seat in Season 1, which focuses on the love story between Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli). However, Allie's romance with womaniser Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) will be explored further in the second series. Mika is not the only Off Campus star dating someone famous; her co-star Belmont Cameli is in a relationship with TV writer Raina Morris.
