Married At First Sight Australia stars Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal have parted ways after a dramatic on-screen argument. The couple, who tied the knot during the 2026 series, initially appeared to be one of the strongest pairings, but their relationship unravelled after Gia discovered lingerie photos of Scott's ex-girlfriend on his phone.
Scott refused to delete the images, telling producers: 'I've got nothing to hide. I am not going to remove photos from my phone of an ex, when there is nothing there.' Gia, a mother-of-one who previously appeared in a French Montana music video, stormed out of the experiment, later explaining: 'They were actually lingerie photos. I felt it was disrespectful to keep those kinds of photos of your ex when you're in a relationship.'
Despite briefly reconciling, the couple eventually split. Gia has since gone public with a new relationship with Australian TV star Alan Wallace, breaking the show's rules by posting on social media. Scott has spoken about the breakdown, claiming he 'copped so much s***' and tried his best to make the marriage work.
