Luke Littler defends ex-girlfriend Eloise Milburn after split and online abuse
Luke Littler defends ex-girlfriend from online hate

Darts world champion Luke Littler has taken a firm stand on social media to defend his ex-girlfriend, Eloise Milburn, from a torrent of online hate following the end of their relationship.

Public defence amid online criticism

The young sporting sensation, who has just secured his second consecutive World Darts Championship title, posted a clear message urging fans to stop the abuse directed at Milburn. The pair split in July 2025, after first getting together when Littler was 16 and Milburn was 21. Their relationship, which began over a game of FIFA on Xbox, had been in the public eye since Milburn supported Littler during his incredible run at the 2024 World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace.

However, the age difference attracted unwarranted scrutiny and vile comments online, with Milburn falsely accused of being with Littler for his money and fame. Her parents, Amanda and Phil Milburn, had previously spoken out to the Daily Mail about their anger at the "horrible stuff" being posted about their daughter.

Family speaks out against 'vile' abuse

Eloise's mother, Amanda, strongly refuted the allegations at the time. "She's not with him for any of these reasons," she stated. "She doesn't care about his money or his fame, she's with him because she likes him. It's as simple as that." She described her daughter as a "lovely young girl" who was being subjected to disgusting accusations, many from within the darts community itself.

Despite the breakup, Littler made it unequivocally clear where the responsibility lay. In his social media post, he stated, "I myself split up with Eloise", directly countering speculation that blamed Milburn for the relationship's end. He pleaded for people to give them both time and to stop sending her grief.

New chapter with a second world title

The 2026 World Darts Championship marked a new chapter for Littler, both personally and professionally. He arrived at the tournament with his new partner, Faith Millar, whose relationship with the darts star became public in July 2025. Millar was seen proudly supporting him as he clinched the title and the inaugural £1 million prize.

Littler's decisive intervention highlights the intense pressure and unwanted attention that follows young celebrities and their personal lives, demonstrating his commitment to setting the record straight and protecting someone he once cared for from further harm.
