Lee Andrews has hit back at claims he took out a mortgage in an ex's name, hours after thanking Katie Price for her help in getting him freed from prison. The self-professed millionaire, who was released from custody in Dubai after going missing for weeks, took to Instagram to deny the allegations.
Denial of Mortgage Fraud
In a video posted to Instagram, Lee addressed the claims made by his ex-fiancee Dina. "There's not one shred of evidence where I've taken a mortgage in someone else's name. Not my ex, not my ex wife, my ex fiancee, Dina," he said. He questioned how he would benefit from signing her name and challenged her to bring the papers. Lee also insisted he never scammed another ex, Alana, during their 30-day relationship. Alana had previously branded Lee a clown and quickly hit back at his latest claims, calling them "all lies" and expressing sympathy for Katie Price.
Prison Ordeal and Thanks to Katie Price
Lee's comments come hours after he explained his side of the arrest story. Sporting a fuller head of hair, he described being "hand-tied, shackled and also with a hood over my head" after being captured by men with assault rifles near the Hatta-Oman border. He praised Katie for her persistence in helping secure his release, saying he would still be locked up if not for her. He repeated his claim that he was suspected of espionage.
In an Instagram Story, Lee detailed his ordeal: "I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint and then I was captured by men with assault rifles. They did slap me around a little bit, little s***s and I was hand-tied, shackled and also with a hood over my head. From there I was taken to a black site and I had no use of my phone." He added that he had signed disclaimers with state security and faced no fraud allegations.
In a follow-up clip, Lee thanked Katie: "Because of the tensions and things happening in the region and me being so close to the border, this is why I was suspected of espionage and held in a state security building... So thank you to Katie for making such a noise that the UAE actually listened and let me go."
