Katie Price's Sphynx Kittens Spark Welfare Concerns

Katie Price has issued an urgent plea for the return of two of her Sphynx cats, Eilleen and Doris, which she claims have been stolen from her home. The former glamour model, 48, shared the news on Instagram Stories, stating that the cats disappeared while she was in Dubai.

Price wrote: 'I came to Dubai Wednesday and my cats were home Tuesday night. I live in a private area and my cats don't just disappear. Whoever has them, return them. They are my babies.' She added a broken heart emoji to the post.

The incident comes just days after Price's husband, Lee Andrews, revealed that one of her eight Sphynx cats had died. In a Cameo video, Andrews said: 'She's got five Sphynxes actually. One has just passed away. Sorry, eight Sphynxes, five dogs. Eight Sphynxes, now seven, one passed away.'

Price has faced scrutiny over her pets in recent years. In 2023, her German Shepherd dog Blade was killed in a hit-and-run, and she later claimed it was a deliberate attack. The RSPCA visited her home after the seventh pet died in her care, but Price said they found no concerns.

Earlier this year, Price sparked backlash after suggesting she might rehome her 17 pets due to her frequent travel to Dubai. In a YouTube vlog, she said: 'I've got to sort out what I'm going to do with the animals... Do I need so many animals? You know you gotta be there all the time for them.'
