Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has unveiled a fresh haircut following his release from prison in Dubai, describing it as a 'massive reinvention.'
New Look After Prison
Lee Andrews, who was released from Dubai's Al Awir prison last week, showed off what appeared to be a fuller, thicker head of hair. The top of his hair was noticeably darker, leading some to speculate that he might have used AI to edit his appearance.
Katie's sister Sophie expressed disapproval of Lee's new style. In a preview of next week's Katie Price Show podcast, she said, 'No, it's not my vibe.'
Defending her husband, Katie added, 'No, but not everyone can pull off short hair.' Sophie replied, 'Ridiculous, f****** liberty.'
Barbershop Video
Lee shared a video from a barbershop in Dubai, sporting a wet and messy fringe. He told the camera, 'So this is when you try to reinvent yourself. A wet through messy look.'
'We're getting there, guys. Slowly, slowly getting there. Not too bad is it? Massive reinvention. Love it.' After thanking his hairdresser, he added, 'It seems to be a bit on the pineapple side, but I don't mind. It seems to do the job. I'll play around with it a bit, making take it back or forward. Good job, isn't it? Looking like an Abercrombie model.'
Prison Saga
Lee mysteriously disappeared last month when he failed to join his wife in the UK. Katie alleged that her fourth husband might have been kidnapped. However, weeks later, Lee surfaced in the infamous Al-Awir prison.
He claimed he was imprisoned for alleged espionage, but reports indicate that his incarceration was due to unpaid debts. Lee has denied any involvement with fraud or criminal activity.
It is reported that Lee now has a 14-day deadline to settle outstanding costs, including 2.6 million dirhams (£54,000) owed to a car rental company called Rotanna Star, dating back to 2022. Another case involves a debt of 74,817.50 Dirhams (£15,000) allegedly owed to a law firm in the UAE for unpaid legal fees.
Representatives for Lee requested the judge to release him so he could access his bank accounts to pay off the debts. In a statement, they said, 'The judgment debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt. He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount.'
Thanks to Katie
In his video, Lee thanked his wife for her support, saying, 'I'm sending messages out to my loved ones and my beautiful wife, who, without her help involving all the UK authorities, I don't think I would have got out of that situation.'
'Because of the tensions and things happening in the region and me being so close to the border, this is why I was suspected of espionage and held in a state security building without the use of a telephone [or] any rights to shower, contact or speak to any of my family, including the embassy or my wife. So thank you to Katie for making such a noise where the UAE actually listened and let me go.'
