Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, appears to have been active on social media amid his reported disappearance, with a notable update to his Instagram bio on Monday. The 48-year-old former glamour model, who married Dubai-based Lee in January just two weeks after meeting him, has been appealing for information about his whereabouts for over a week after he failed to board a flight for a scheduled interview on Good Morning Britain.
Instagram Bio Update
Previously, Lee used his Instagram bio—followed by nearly 150,000 users—to promote his OnlyFans page. However, on Monday, an interesting change occurred: while his bio still describes him as an "entrepreneur" and "hubby to Katie Price," the link to his adults-only platform has been removed. This suggests he may have accessed his account, raising questions about his current situation.
Voice Note and Claims
Just hours before the bio update, Katie released a voice note in which she attempts to contact her father-in-law, Peter, to update him on Lee's whereabouts. She claims this clip offers a unique insight into the first few hours after her husband went missing. In a new YouTube video titled "Katie Price Vlog: The morning after my husband goes MISSING," she detailed the aftermath, alleging that Lee told her his "kidnappers" took two of his phones but that he had a secret third one to contact her.
"Because last night, they said, 'They've taken two of my phones. They don't know I'm on this phone.' And so he said, 'I'll just let you know I've been arrested. If they ring you,'" she claimed. Katie added, "He wrote a text quick. I mean, I hope he's all right, but I don't know," before showing herself leaving a voice note for her father-in-law, whose number Lee gave her just before disappearing.
Skepticism and Father's Statement
Despite Katie's claims of kidnapping, sleuths have pointed out inconsistencies in her story. Lee had been absent from social media until Friday, when he appeared to follow another account—a woman named Marisol—in a twist, as he previously only followed his wife. Meanwhile, Lee's father has contradicted the kidnapping narrative, stating over the weekend: "Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don't know on what charge. I'm not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today."
The situation remains unclear, with Katie continuing to campaign for information while facing scrutiny over her account of events.
