Katie Price Shares Insight into Whirlwind Marriage Amid Dubai Visit
Katie Price has offered a glimpse into her rapid marriage with Lee Andrews as the couple enjoyed a date day in Dubai, despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East. The former glamour model, 47, recently traveled to join her fourth husband in the United Arab Emirates, brushing aside worries about the regional conflict and potential legal issues.
Swift Marriage and Dubai Trip Raise Eyebrows
In January, Katie shocked friends, family, and fans by announcing she had married Lee just 48 hours after meeting him in person. The pair had initially connected on social media before she flew to the UAE to meet him. Despite concerns from those close to her, Katie appears unfazed, even as fears mount about her promoting CBD oil in a country where it is banned.
Under UAE law, cannabidiol is strictly prohibited for personal use and possession. However, Katie has been vocal about her use of CBD for sleep, anxiety, and pain relief. In a recent video, she addressed media reports suggesting she could face jail time, stating, "I haven't bought any CBD or gummies to Dubai. I can still talk about CBD because it is something I need... I will always take it because I want to help other people."
Gym Sessions and Romantic Dates in Dubai
Katie has been making the most of her time in Dubai, sharing snaps from workouts and dinners with Lee. In one Instagram Story, she looked frail while posing with Lee at the gym, wearing a tight workout outfit that showcased her surgically enhanced chest and ankle weights. Lee sported a black hoodie and green shorts as he happily took the photo.
Katie captioned the image, "We are always laughing and joking. So happy," highlighting the couple's bond. Another series of photos showed them dining at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, where Katie sipped tea and cuddled up to Lee, both smiling for the camera.
Ignoring Conflict and Travel Warnings
Katie has also shrugged off concerns about the ongoing conflict in the region, which has seen Dubai hit by Iranian missiles amid tensions between Iran and the USA. The UK Foreign Office advises against "all but essential" travel to the UAE, and British Airways has grounded all flights until the summer. However, one of the UAE's flag carriers continues to operate flights.
Despite receiving emergency alerts on her phone about the conflict, Katie says she feels "safe" in Dubai. A source told New Magazine, "Katie has been warned about going to Dubai because of what is happening out there. She was boasting about her plane being empty, but that was because most people won't take the risk right now."
Katie's defiant attitude extends to her marriage and lifestyle choices, as she continues to share moments of happiness with Lee, seemingly unbothered by external pressures or dangers.
