Jeremy Clarkson Back to Work Filming After Cancer Diagnosis

Jeremy Clarkson has resumed filming for the upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm following his cancer diagnosis. The television personality has been seen recording fresh material for the popular programme's sixth season.

Production crews were seen attending the Cereals 2026 agricultural event hosted at the presenter's Diddly Squat Farm. The 66 year old disclosed during the latest instalment of his Prime Video programme that he had been diagnosed with an "aggressive" type of prostate cancer.

He confirmed he had received treatment during the emotional scene, which saw him sharing the medical news with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farmhand Kaleb Cooper. While he acknowledged that work had begun on a sixth series, he expressed uncertainty about his ability to participate. The Cereals 2026 gathering welcomed 500 exhibitors showcasing the newest innovations within the agricultural sector.

According to sources, Jeremy appeared to be in excellent spirits, sharing laughter and banter with fellow farmers while engaging warmly with attendees.

Jeremy's Cancer Revelation

During the recently concluded series, Jeremy was filmed in conversation with Charlie and Kaleb about the harvest before sharing his health news.

"I've got cancer. I've known since May. I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be, you know," he said.

He reflected on the season's journey, saying: "We started season five with me in a hospital bed and here we are at the end of season five and I'm back in a hospital bed..."

Before signing off, he added: "What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I won't. Take care, everyone."

Treatment and Recovery

The most recent series was filmed in September 2025. Throughout the programme, Jeremy addressed his cancer diagnosis. Following the surgery, he informed Kaleb that he had "10 per cent" of his prostate removed via ultrasound, explaining: "The prostate, 10 per cent of it's dead. The 10 per cent where the cancer is."

It proved an incredibly difficult period for Jeremy, who was also battling coronary heart disease. He reflected: "So we started the year and I had coronary heart disease and ended it with me with cancer. We can dwell as much as we like on all the bad things that have happened on the farm but I think it is better now at the end of the year to focus on things that have happened that are good."

Upcoming Series

Jeremy had previously forewarned viewers that the new series would make for challenging viewing, stating: "Ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming and cheerful. But the final two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight are none of those things really. They're a difficult watch. They're really, really, difficult."

The upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm is anticipated to arrive in summer 2027.
