AFL legend Isaac Smith has stunned the footy world and even his wife Candice by making an appearance on the catwalk at Australian Fashion Week. The 37-year-old Hawks and Geelong great took centre stage dressed in Christian Kimber attire, leaving Candice pleasantly surprised at the quality of his performance.

Candice Smith took to Instagram to share her initial amusement and subsequent admiration. 'I attended AFW to have a good giggle at my husband's expense, but what I wasn't expecting was for him to absolutely nail it,' she wrote. 'The magic happens when you step out of your comfort zone and take a chance, and that is exactly what he did (plus some because I know he was absolutely sh***ing himself). I can't wait to show our children, and in years to come discuss how Dad played football at the highest level AND walked in Australian Fashion Week.'

Footy fans were also impressed by Smith's star turn. 'Love what this stands for so much and he did nail it,' one person commented on Instagram. 'Love this!! Still kicking goals,' another added. A third simply wrote, 'Killed itttttt.' The veteran of 280 AFL games has been labelled a 'trailblazer' for his performance.
Smith's Football Career
Smith won three premierships during his time with the Hawthorn Hawks, starring in 210 matches for the club from 2011 to 2020. He then switched to Geelong, where he was part of the team that won the 2022 grand final, before retiring in 2023. His turn on the catwalk came after the Christian Kimber brand announced it is opening a store in Sydney.
