Helen George's Rollercoaster: Split and ADHD Diagnosis

Helen George, known for playing Nurse Trixie Aylward in the BBC drama Call the Midwife, has experienced a dramatic few months. The actress, who has been with the show since 2012, has faced a reported relationship split and publicly shared her ADHD diagnosis for the first time. She is also launching a new podcast.

Reported Split from Partner Dan Innes

Helen began a relationship with Dan Innes, who works at an estate agent marketing company, in February of last year. Dan is already a father to two children from a previous relationship. According to a source speaking to The Sun, the couple have ended their relationship. The source alleged: "Helen and Dan have gone their separate ways. They had a whirlwind romance, but their differences became apparent. It has been a difficult time for them both." Reach has approached Helen George's representatives for comment.

Reveals ADHD Diagnosis

In March, Helen publicly disclosed for the first time that she has ADHD. Speaking on the podcast I'm ADHD! No You're Not., she revealed she had been living with the condition for the last few years. She said: "Well, the diagnosis came after my second child was born, so it was about three and a half years ago. I think the idea of parenting challenges all of the very facets that ADHD has." She described a conversation with a male friend who had ADHD as a "light bulb moment" that prompted her to seek a diagnosis.
