Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has offered fans a glimpse into her December, sharing a series of festive images including racy lingerie snaps, amid an ongoing public dispute with her ex-partner, footballer Scott Sinclair.
A Festive Feud Erupts Online
The 35-year-old soap star, who split from Bristol Rovers player Sinclair in 2022 after 13 years together, spent Christmas without their three children this year. This followed a very public outburst earlier in December, where Flanagan criticised Sinclair for allegedly failing to attend their four-year-old son Charlie's school nativity play.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Flanagan did not hold back, re-sharing a post from Sinclair who was in Abu Dhabi for the Grand Prix weekend. She captioned it: 'You really are a piece of s***. How dare you not turn up to Charlie's nativity.' In contrast, she later posted a sweet photo cuddling Charlie, calling him her 'star' and 'heartbeat'.
Red Lingerie and a December Round-Up
Despite describing a Christmas without her children as 'so unnatural', Flanagan shared her December highlights on Instagram this Monday. The post featured a bold photoshoot in front of her Christmas tree, where she wore a red lace halterneck bodysuit with a fur-lined neckline, paired with matching stockings.
Another image showed her in a red satin strapless babydoll dress with a sheer chiffon skirt. The round-up also included more personal moments, such as a selfie video with son Charlie and pictures in matching pyjamas with a friend. Further snaps highlighted her recent role as the Wicked Queen in the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena.
Underlying Tensions and 'Hot Boy Winter'
Sources suggest the root of Flanagan's anger stems from Sinclair's behaviour since his split from his girlfriend, Lauren Davies, 32. Insiders claim he has been embracing a 'Hot Boy Winter' phase, enjoying events like the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, while Flanagan balances a full-time panto schedule with family life.
To compound matters, 2024 was reportedly Scott's year to have their children—Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four—for Christmas, leaving Helen furious. A source told The Sun that Helen feels Scott 'picks and chooses' when to be present, adding that he 'hasn't been present' since his own breakup and is 'constantly showing off his wealth' online.
The situation has reportedly deteriorated to the point where Flanagan and Sinclair have blocked each other on social media and now communicate only through family members. The Daily Mail approached Scott Sinclair's representative for comment at the time of the initial story.
