Steven Gerrard's daughters have sent the former Liverpool captain heartfelt messages to mark Father's Day. Gerrard shares four children with his wife Alex: daughters Lilly, Lexie, Lourdes, and son Lio. He also became a grandfather for the first time last year after his eldest daughter Lilly gave birth to a baby girl named Lila Grey.

I love you the world, thank you for everything." Lexie Gerrard uploaded a photo of the whole family together, writing: "Happy Father's Day to my amazing dad. You are the best dad I could ask for. Thank you and I love you so much. The best girl dad."
Family Traditions and Grandfatherhood
Gerrard often shares insights into his family life and is enjoying his time as a grandad. He received a congratulations message from Liverpool after Lila was born, containing a gift for the baby. Gerrard recently opened up about life as a doting grandad during an appearance on a new podcast from The Smith boxing brothers. He said: "I've had loads of free time with the family with the granddaughter coming, so trying to be around Lily and her partner Lee as much as we can." He added: "It's unbelievable. It's just the same buzz as when your own come. So loads of that."
Lilly continued a special family tradition by naming her baby girl with an 'L' initial, following the pattern of Gerrard's children. Alex Gerrard leads a more private life and keeps her social media posts private. The couple have been happily married since 2007 after tying the knot in a luxurious ceremony at Cliveden House in Berkshire.
