Emmerdale Star Danny Miller Engaged and Expecting First Child with Steph Jones

Emmerdale actor Danny Miller has announced he is engaged to his girlfriend Steph Jones and that the couple are expecting their first child together. The 30-year-old, who plays Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap, shared the double dose of good news with OK! magazine.

Miller and Jones, who met in primary school but only began a relationship in 2019, were surprised to learn of the pregnancy after trying for over a year. Jones said they had been 'psyching themselves up for IVF' before discovering they were expecting in February, a month after getting engaged.

The actor proposed during a candlelit beach dinner in St Lucia in January, a trip Jones had organised for his 30th birthday. Miller revealed that fellow Emmerdale stars Kelvin Fletcher, Ryan Thomas, and Adam Thomas will be top of the wedding guest list.

Miller was on set filming a major disaster sequence—a barn explosion—when he received the news of the pregnancy. He recalled, 'When I saw how many times she had rung me, I had a feeling. I thought, either she's pregnant or something serious is going on.'

The actor has been a long-term cast member on Emmerdale, first appearing on Christmas Eve 2003. His storylines have included sexual abuse, kidnapping, prison, and coming to terms with his sexuality. Recently, he has been open about suffering from a back injury and struggling to access physiotherapy due to Covid-19 restrictions.
