The Angus, a Liverpool bar with locations on Dale Street in the city centre and on Coronation Road in Crosby, has put both venues on the market after six years of operation. The business confirmed it is seeking new owners for both sites, announcing the news via Instagram.
Announcement and Background
In a social media post, The Angus stated: "After six amazing years, it's been an amazing ride, but we are for sale. If you are interested in taking The Angus to the next level or bringing your brand to a ready made unit on Dale Street or in Crosby, get in touch. Until the time comes, hopefully we see you soon for a pint."
The Angus Tap & Grind, located at 83–85 Dale Street, has operated as a bar and coffee spot since opening in 2020. It offers a mix of craft beer, real ales, and coffee, alongside regular live music and sports screenings. The venue quickly became part of Liverpool's independent bar scene, attracting both daytime coffee drinkers and evening customers due to its flexible daytime-to-night-time offering.
Local Offerings and Expansion
The Dale Street venue is known for serving coffee from local roasters and hosting events such as quizzes and live music. Its sister site in Crosby opened later as a neighbourhood-style bar on Coronation Road, contributing to Crosby's growing independent hospitality sector and becoming a local drinking spot for residents.
The business has encouraged interested parties to get in touch as both venues continue trading for now while a sale is explored. For the latest news and breaking news, visit liverpoolecho.co.uk.
