Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has responded to her daughter, Scarlett Thomas, after the teenager spotted her mum helping herself to clothes from her wardrobe during celebrations for her 18th birthday.
The Rusholme-born actress, known for playing Sarah Platt in the ITV soap filmed in Salford, shares Scarlett with her former partner and ex-Corrie star Ryan Thomas. Last week, Ryan gave fans a glimpse inside Scarlett's birthday celebrations.
Birthday Celebrations
Taking to Instagram, Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, shared pictures of Scarlett enjoying her special day with friends and family, including her uncles Adam and Scott Thomas, and Waterloo Road co-star Hattie Dynevor, at Louis Restaurant in Manchester.
Alongside the post, which included photos of the birthday girl in an all-black lace outfit posing with her cake, decorated with photos, gems and a Buzzballz, he wrote: "Happy 18th, Angel. A night we will never forget."
Tina's Response
Tina has since taken to social media with her own photos from celebrating her daughter's milestone birthday, including a picture of a Buzzballz-inspired cake. Her post also featured selfies of the 43-year-old showcasing a change to her blonde hair, and a glimpse of her recent Halloween celebrations, where she appeared to channel Cher in a black wig and sparkly stockings.
"Last weeks of October. @scarlettjthomas26 turning 18. Dressed as Temu Cher. London for @prideofbritain and a bit of everything in between," Tina captioned her post. Scarlett was quick to comment: "Nice shorts mum where do find them. My room by any chance." Tina quipped in response: "Caught….I’m amazed I managed to squeeze into them."
