Chrishell Stause has confirmed she and G Flip have split after more than four years together and three years of marriage. The former Selling Sunset star, 45, fought back tears as she shared the news in an emotional Instagram video, describing the announcement as 'stressful' to make.
Emotional Announcement
In the video, Stause told her 4.1 million followers: 'I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other.'
She added: 'That's not hard for me, because I'm in love with this person, and I don't have all the information or the reasons, and I just am sure, just like always, with time… you get the lessons you're meant to get, and I know that will happen, and I'm gonna heal, and everything is gonna be fine. I'm definitely never doing this again.'
Stause explained her decision to address the breakup publicly, saying: 'I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold, written statement, because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that.'
Relationship History
The couple confirmed they were dating in May 2022 and announced their marriage a year later after a private ceremony in Las Vegas. They later renewed their vows in Palm Springs, Melbourne, and Los Angeles.
Stause, who previously starred in Selling Sunset before quitting in November 2025, said she feels 'like a little bit of a failure', her voice breaking as she said: 'There's nothing you can say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself.'
She described the situation as 'hard' and 'painful', adding: 'I'm a lover girl. I swing big. I miss… well, maybe you don't miss. Maybe these are the seasons you're meant to have with people, and I had an amazing over four years with G, so maybe that's not a miss.'
Ongoing Support
Stause said there is no bad blood between them, stating: 'I will always love G, and I don't ever really see that changing. This sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us.'
G has not yet publicly commented on the split, but was commenting on Stause's posts as recently as October 10, when they wrote 'Sick jacket darling' under a photo. Stause had also commented on G's posts, including one about performing with Kylie Minogue on September 27.
Stause was previously married to This Is Us actor Justin Hartley, splitting in 2021, and later dated Jason Oppenheim. She met G at a Halloween party. In late 2023, she spoke about hopes to start a family, saying they were 'excited to adopt at some point'. G, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, has described Stause as an 'angel' for being supportive of their creative process.
