Cat Deeley was seen wearing her wedding ring at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night, nearly two months after announcing her separation from husband Patrick Kielty. The This Morning presenter, 48, walked the red carpet in a striking green gown, but it was the diamond ring on her left hand that caught attention.
The couple announced their split in late July, stating they would remain united as parents to their two sons, Milo, 8, and James, 6. They met while presenting Fame Academy in 2003 and married in Rome in 2012.
Deeley’s decision to wear the ring comes after she was previously photographed wearing it on her right hand. Reports had suggested the marriage was in trouble earlier this year when she did not attend her mother-in-law’s funeral in March, though a spokesperson said she stayed home to care for her children.
At the NTAs, Deeley’s ITV programme won the best daytime show award, marking a professional high point amid personal upheaval. She smiled and posed for photos before entering the O2 Arena in London.
