BTS Star Jin Opens Up About 'So Many Worries' Ahead of Netflix Comeback Concert

BTS member Jin has revealed he was plagued by 'so many worries' before the group's first concert in four years, which was streamed live on Netflix. The K-pop sensations returned to the stage for 'BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang' at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, performing tracks from their fifth studio album alongside hits like 'Dynamite'.

During the hour-long show, Jin addressed the crowd in Korean, saying: 'Thank you so much for coming here. I had so many worries before about standing here today but seeing you all again, I'm so emotional and happy.' He also expressed gratitude to the group's fanbase, known as Army, adding: 'Thank you, Army.'

The concert marked the group's reunion after announcing a hiatus in 2022 to complete mandatory military service in South Korea. Fellow member Jimin also spoke, stating: 'We are finally here and seeing you again. The fact that I am speaking here... I am so moved. All seven of us standing on stage together makes me so happy.'

Free tickets for the event were distributed via a global lottery on the fan-community website Weverse, with additional reservations through NOL Ticket. The concert precedes the release of a new Netflix documentary, 'BTS: The Return', scheduled for 21 March, which will document the build-up to the comeback.

BTS, an acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan or Beyond the Scene, are the best-selling music act in South Korean history, with over 40 million albums sold. They have achieved four top 10 singles and two number one albums in the UK, and were the first K-pop act to secure a Grammy nomination.
