Brooklyn Beckham attended his father-in-law Nelson Peltz's 84th birthday celebration in Florida on Wednesday, wearing matching cowboy hats with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, as tensions with his own parents continue.
Family Gathering in Florida
The 31-year-old actress shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showing the Peltz family enjoying a meal together in coordinated straw hats. One image featured Nelson with Nicola and Brooklyn crouching beside him in sunglasses, while another group shot included the businessman with five of his sons and the married couple.
In the caption, Nicola wrote: 'Happy birthday Dad! I love celebrating you! I feel truly blessed to have grown up watching you be such an incredible role model in every way possible.' She described him as 'the best father I could ever dream of,' adding: 'You love us all unconditionally, encourage us that our dreams are never too big to chase and to always always be a good human before all else.'
Father's Day Snub
The celebration comes after Brooklyn, 27, did not publicly acknowledge his parents David and Victoria Beckham's Father's Day posts on Instagram over the weekend. David shared a vintage photo including his estranged son, writing: 'Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy for giving me our beautiful family.'
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, the aspiring chef is said to have asked his parents 'to leave him alone' after they posted about him. 'It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they'd leave it and leave him alone,' the insider told the publication.
Blocked on Instagram
Brooklyn reportedly saw his parents' posts through media reports and people close to him, as he has blocked his family on Instagram. Unlike his siblings, he did not send any Father's Day wishes to David. Earlier this year, he issued an explosive statement saying he has no plans to mend fences with his parents amid a deep rift.
