Bradley Riches Commends Sharon and Kelly Osbourne's Resilience
Emmerdale actor Bradley Riches has spoken candidly about his close bond with his Celebrity Big Brother co-star Sharon Osbourne, lauding her and her daughter Kelly as "very strong women" in the wake of Ozzy Osbourne's passing. The 24-year-old soap star and the former X Factor judge forged a deep friendship during their time on the reality show in 2024, a connection that has endured well beyond the cameras stopped rolling.
A Supportive Friendship Forged on Reality TV
The duo have maintained their close relationship since their CBB stint, even extending their camaraderie to include Sharon's daughter, Kelly Osbourne. The trio recently reunited for a brunch gathering, marking one of their first social outings together since the tragic loss of Sharon's husband, Ozzy, in July 2025. Bradley was effusive in his praise for both women during this emotionally challenging period.
"They're such amazing people - what they've been through," Bradley told The Daily Mail. "When you look at Sharon and Kelly, you look at them as very strong women; it is empowering, and I really look up to them. I have so much love and time for them."
An Uplifting Reunion at Claridge's
Discussing their recent meet-up, Bradley revealed that they had been planning to reconnect for some time, but Ozzy's death made scheduling difficult. "We were meaning to meet up for a while and then they lost Ozzy, so obviously it was a hard time for them," he explained. The group eventually settled on a date around Christmas, with Bradley initially suggesting a casual venue like McDonald's.
"Anyways, they were like, 'We will meet you at the Claridge's hotel'. I was like, 'Ok, these people are boujee.' But it was really nice, and then Sharon got the bill as well, which made it 10 times better!" Bradley recounted with evident affection.
Grieving Process and Family Impact
Ozzy Osbourne's death in July 2025 profoundly affected the entire family. Sharon has previously shared her struggles with sleep since losing her husband, while her son Jack experienced emotional breakdowns during his subsequent appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Kelly, meanwhile, has been dealing with her grief through noticeable weight loss, reportedly stemming from difficulty eating after her father's passing.
Star-Studded Wedding Plans
Bradley will be reuniting with Sharon soon under happier circumstances, as she is confirmed to attend his upcoming wedding to partner Scott Johnston. The couple, who got engaged in 2024 with a romantic proposal in Sorrento, Italy, are set to tie the knot later this month. The ceremony promises to be a celebrity-filled affair.
"So obviously we've got my new friends from Emmerdale, a couple of them are coming. Heartstopper, some of them. The Big Brother lot, I think all of the Big Brother lot are actually coming," Bradley revealed about the guest list. "Like David, Colston, Nikita, Sharon, Levi, ZeZe, Marisha, Ekin-Su, and other people I've met along the way, like Arlene Phillips, Tasha (Ghouri) from Love Island."
Reflecting on the extensive roster of famous attendees, Bradley admitted with some surprise, "I realised I had 'quite a lot of famous friends'." The actor shared his engagement news publicly last year through a series of heartfelt social media posts, including one showing the couple embracing within a rose petal heart formation against the stunning backdrop of Sorrento.
