Amanda Holden has shared a festive video on her Instagram Story, wearing a figure-hugging red dress as she sent a Christmas message to her followers. The Britain's Got Talent judge, 55, showed off the striking outfit, which she described as "very on trend for Heart Breakfast."
Amanda's Festive Dress Reveal
Clearly pleased with her look, Amanda told fans all about the dress and where she had picked it up. She said: "Hello, oh my goodness, I am loving this dress. It is very on trend for Heart Breakfast. It is from Karen Millen, it is super soft, nice and fitted. I did a little tie for my belt this morning. I absolutely love it."
The presenter went on to explain that she was feeling particularly festive, having already started transforming her home ahead of the big day. She added: "I feel very Christmassy, as you know if you've looked on my Instagram you will see I've put some Christmas decorations up and I've started on the rest of the house and I'm feeling very festive. Merry Christmas!"
Early Christmas Decorations at Home
Amanda has wasted no time getting ready for the celebrations this year, having already unveiled her lavish Christmas decorations at her Surrey home. The TV star previously shared a series of pictures and clips showing the property decked out with twinkling lights and elaborate festive displays.
She also opened up about why the season means so much to her, admitting that the decorations can bring back emotional childhood memories. "I don't think I'll ever be able to explain quite what Christmas means to me. I was lucky enough to have a childhood full of love. We didn't have much, but somehow Christmas always felt like we had everything," she wrote.
"Even now, the decorations going up give me a lump in my throat. I'm straight back to being little, full of excitement and believing anything was possible. And for the record, I still believe in Father Christmas. Always have. Always will."
Behind the Festive Transformation
Amanda revealed that Kelly Louise Floral Artistry had helped give her home its festive transformation, praising the team as "warm, funny, hardworking people" and "an absolute joy to have around". She also made clear she had paid for the work herself, writing: "I paid for the installation, but I'll always shout about good people doing brilliant things. And I absolutely love what they've created."
While plenty of fans were impressed by the display, others thought the decorations had arrived a little too soon. One follower commented: "It's lovely….but FAR TOO EARLY!!!" Amanda shares her Surrey home with husband Chris Hughes and their daughters Alexa and Hollie.
