Summer Robert, a 28-year-old from Glasgow who claims to have the "biggest boobs in the UK," has revealed the downsides of her rare medical condition, saying she is never treated as a serious person. Her breasts weigh 27kg, about a third of her body weight.
Robert has macromastia, a condition marked by excessively large breasts. Last year alone, a hormone surge caused her to grow 11 sizes. She now wears a 30U bra. "It basically means that my breasts just won't stop growing which is crazy," she said.
Early struggles and misdiagnosis
She began developing breasts at age eight, which led to objectification from men and resentment from women. Between the ages of 12 and 25, she consulted six different doctors in Scotland, none of whom could diagnose her condition.
Now living in Brisbane, Australia, Robert recounted an incident at a restaurant where she used to work. While serving drinks at the bar, two men began harassing her, making inappropriate comments about her breast size and calling her the "Scottish Dolly Parton." The situation escalated until a chef helped eject them, as they refused to take her seriously.
Earning and challenges
That same night, the chef persuaded her to set up an OnlyFans account. She now earns up to $150,000 (£113,000) per month, a figure she contrasts with Scotland's average annual salary of £40,000.
Despite the financial success, Robert said she faces ongoing hurdles. Her best friend recently married, but she could not wear the bridesmaid dress because it would not fit. She also bought a new bra just a month ago and has already outgrown it. "I think the negative attention I get. I get a lot of catcalling. I have really bad back pain or shoulder pain," she said.
There is no guarantee her breasts will not regrow after a breast reduction, so she is postponing the procedure until she has no other options.
Relationships and friendships
Robert, who is single, said dating is difficult because "a lot of boys are kind of insecure." She explained that when walking with a girlfriend, other men often stare, which can cause tension.
Forming friendships with women can also be hard. "It's awful because I've had female friends and I've been on like double dates with them and I've caught their boyfriend looking at my boobs and I've caught the girlfriend looking at the boyfriend looking at my boobs and knowing that it's causing an argument after it," she said. "So it's so hard to keep a friend that's a girl. But I have a really good circle around me so I don't think I need any more female friends."
