Marian Atherton

Marian Atherton passed away peacefully at home with her loving family on 28th July 2026, aged 92 years. She was reunited with her beloved husband George and son Peter. A much-loved mum, sister, nan, grandma, great-grandma and aunt, her service and cremation will take place at Springwood Crematorium in the Rosemary Chapel on Monday 24th August at 12.30pm. John Barry

John Barry passed away peacefully on 24th July, aged 90 years. He was the dearly beloved husband of Pat, much-loved dad to John & Paulette and Louise & Mark, and precious grandad to Jenny, Pip & Milly, and great-grandad to Daisy & Molly. Family flowers only, with donations to Dementia UK appreciated. His service will be held at The Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Crematorium on Monday 24th August at 11am. John Brannigan

John Brannigan passed away peacefully at home on 19th July 2026 with his loving family by his side. He was the treasured husband of Margaret, reunited with his beloved daughter Dawn, much-loved dad of John, and proud grandad of Jade, Jonjoe, Mia and Josh, and great-grandad of Nova, Louise and Margot. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday 11th August at 10:30am in St Anthony's Church, Scotland Road, followed by a service at Anfield Crematorium at 11:20am. Family flowers only, with donations to Woodlands Hospice.

William John Brotheridge

With great sadness, the passing of Billy Brotheridge is announced. He was a grandfather, father, uncle, brother-in-law and big brother. Gone but not forgotten, may he rest in peace. The notice is from John, Carol, Hannah and Rhian.

Marie Cooper passed away peacefully at home on 21st July 2026, aged 73. She was a beloved wife, mum, much-loved sister, cherished nan and great-nan, and a dearly loved aunt. Her funeral service will take place at Thornton Crematorium on Friday 14th August 2026 at 2.15pm. Family flowers only.

Sheila Coville

Sheila Coville sadly passed away peacefully at home on Friday 31st July 2026, aged 78 years. She was a loving mother of Steven and Kieren, devoted sister to Stuart, and auntie to Clare and Graeme. Sheila is reunited with her much-loved husband Terry. She was an avid quizzer who will be greatly missed. A private service will be held at Southport Crematorium.

Colin Critchley

Colin Critchley, aged 84 years, was a beloved husband of Jean, much-loved dad of Nicola, Michila and Gemma, and loving grandad of Hannah, Lydia, Daniel, Elena, Mia, Toby and Jacob. His funeral will be held on Monday 17th August 2026, with service and interment at St Nicholas' Church, Church Road, Halewood at 1pm. Family flowers only, with donations to Channel Supporting Family Social Work in Liverpool.

Ronald David Douglas

Ronald David Douglas, aged 87 years, was reunited with his beloved wife Jean. He was a much-loved dad of Bev and Mark and loving grandad of Ellie and Michael. His funeral will be held on Friday 21st August 2026 at Springwood Crematorium at 3pm (Rosemary chapel). Family flowers only, with donations to Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.

Felix Fitzpatrick

Felix Fitzpatrick, known as Fitzy, passed away aged 83. He was a loving husband to Maura (deceased), much-loved dad to Danny, Julie and Izzy, and loving grandad to Callum, Liam and Erin. His funeral service will take place on Friday 14th August 2026 at Blessed Sacrament Church at 12pm, followed by burial at Everton Cemetery at 1.30pm. Attendees are asked to wear a splash of green. Family flowers only, with donations to Tommy's the pregnancy and baby charity.

Veronica Flynn

Veronica Flynn, known as Ronnie, passed away peacefully on 20th July 2026 aged 82. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 11th August at St Francis de Sales Church at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Anfield Crematorium at 1.20pm.

Dennis Patrick Hanlon

Dennis Patrick Hanlon was reunited with his mum Eva, dad Denis and son Sam. He was a devoted dad of Ben, Jack & Tom, loving ex-husband and lifelong friend of Sue, father-in-law of Vin, Sian and Jenny, and much-loved grandad of Joe, Alice, Jack and Mia. His funeral service will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium on Friday 14th August at 12:30pm. Family flowers only, with donations for Sudden Sam.
