A TikTok user has shared five brainteasers that he claims 'everyone should be able to solve', but many viewers have admitted to being stumped, with some even arguing over the correct answers.
Mahan, who posts under the handle @mahanlankarani, compiled the rapid-fire puzzles in a video that has garnered more than 776,000 likes. The clip poses a series of trick questions, each with a surprising twist.
The Five Puzzles
In the video, Mahan asks: "How many pairs of animals did Moses take on the ark?" After a brief pause, he reveals the answer is zero, since Moses did not have an ark – Noah did.
The second puzzle: "You're in a race and you pass the person in third place - so what place are you in now?" The correct answer, he confirms, is third place.
He then asks: "John's father had three sons, Snap, Crackle and ...?" While many people quickly answer 'Pop', the correct response is John, as the question already reveals John is one of the sons.
The fourth puzzle: "If a plane crashes right in between France and Spain, where do you bury the survivors?" The trick, he explains, is that you do not bury survivors.
Finally, he asks: "If it takes seven people, seven minutes to eat seven burgers, how long will it take 30 people to eat 30 burgers?" The answer is seven minutes, as each person takes seven minutes to eat one burger.
Viewers React
In the comments, numerous viewers confessed to being "really confused" about the last puzzle. One user said: "My math isn't mathing in the fifth." Another added: "I'm still really confused about the last one." A third user commented: "Why was I so confident yelling out Pop."
Some viewers admitted to getting all the answers wrong. One user said: "I've never been so embarrassed." Another wrote: "I confidently answered each question and still got 0/5."
The brainteasers follow other viral puzzles, including a cheese-themed challenge to find a single piece of blue cheese among many varieties, and an optical illusion that asks viewers to spot a hidden toad in a garden path.
