Strictly Come Dancing fans were left with the same complaint following John Nellis and Katya Jones' latest performance in the famous ballroom - and it wasn't anything to do with how they performed their latest routine.
Fans of the hit BBC One dance show will know that the social media star and his professional dance partner got off to a strong start in the competition when they topped the leaderboard during week one, and the first live show of the series.
Injury admission on It Takes Two
Last week's performance, however, featured more of a struggle as they performed a Titanic-themed couple's choice routine during Strictly's Movie Week special, which arrived earlier than ever before.
It was then, earlier this week, that John opened up about suffering an injury as he appeared on Strictly's BBC Two spin-off show, It Takes Two. He appeared alongside fellow Strictly contestants Dani Dyer, Melanie Walters and Bethany Antonia and when asked about his performance, which featured a number of lifts, he said: "It was a good time. We just had a party. It lacked a bit of the technicality of a Foxtrot, say, but the lifts were ambitious. I said earlier in the day that I didn’t know if it would work, but it kind of did."
He then revealed what had happened earlier in the day of the live performance, adding: "But actually, earlier in the day in the dress rehearsal, I tweaked my thumb. So I was a bit scared going into it. I was a wee bit scared that it was going to go at me. But I’d seen the physio and we got through it. I won’t be lifting her for a week or two now!"
Week three score of 20
On Saturday night (October 10), John and Katya were back in the ballroom and faced a dip in their scoring, as they received 20 for their cha cha cha - to Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake - out of a possible 40 from the judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
According to Anton, "it was almost there but not quite", but did admit there was "lots to like", including "great timing and good accents". However, Craig said the performance was "too laid back" and lacked the "wow factor" he was looking for.
Fans rush to social media
But it's fair to say that Strictly fans didn't agree as they rushed to social media to issue the same complaint. @lewisxcopefan said: "Sorry but John and Katya were so undermarked!!! I thought it was AMAZINGGGGG." @sophiemariamhm commented: "Great week. Although undermarked @katyajones & @johnnellis!"
