Penny Lancaster has shown her support for her husband, Rod Stewart, after he underwent heart surgery. The 81-year-old rocker had the procedure after cancelling numerous tour dates.
The model took to Instagram and shared a loved-up snap of them kissing, with Stewart's 1977 hit "You're In My Heart" playing in the background.
Health Update and Recovery
A statement on Stewart's Instagram page, accompanied by a photo of him beside a piano, read: "Following further medical evaluation, Sir Rod Stewart has successfully undergone a routine coronary stent procedure. Doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Rod is doing very well and has returned to his normal daily activities. On the advice of his doctors, he will take the next four weeks to recuperate and regain full fitness before returning to the stage."
The statement continued: "Unfortunately, this means he will be unable to continue his current tour dates. Information regarding affected performances will be communicated by the respective promoters and venues."
Rod's Message to Fans
In addition to the photo, the carousel included an update from Rod in which he thanked healthcare specialists and apologised to fans for cancelling the shows. He wrote: "I am already feeling better and very much on the mend. I want to thank the doctors, the nurses and everyone who has taken such wonderful care of me."
He added: "I am deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down, but I look forward to getting back on the stage and having a good time with you all again soon."
Family News
This comes after the couple became grandparents again, after Rod's third daughter, Ruby, welcomed her second child with her fiancé, Jake Kalick. Ruby, 39, shared a series of photos of her newborn in the hospital with the family.
In the post, she revealed: "We welcomed our little (big) Levi Rhodes Kalick at 6:58pm on 8/4/26 at 9lbs 20inches… his name Levi means my heart and his arrival has grown our hearts to 10 times the size… Seeing Otis and Levi meet for the first time might have been the greatest experience of my life so far… Otis is already the best big brother, and we are already so in love with this sweet boy… Welcome sweet Levi!"
