Olivia Attwood has clarified that Pete Wicks has not undergone any cosmetic surgery, addressing his appearance on her ITV show.
Clarification on This Morning
Appearing on Wednesday's This Morning, Olivia spoke to hosts Josie Gibson and Paddy McGuinness about the new series of The Price of Perfection, which returns for a third season on ITV.
In a trailer for the show, Pete is seen asking Olivia what she is filming, and she explains the episode focuses on plastic surgery in the world of celebrity. Pete then jokes, pointing at the cameras: “Tell them all now what you’d change about me, get the list out!”
Olivia's response
Olivia laughed back: “Your eyes… I think they also make you wisdomful, is that a word?”
During the conversation, Josie praised celebrities being honest about their procedures, saying: “What I love about this, is celebrities actually being honest about what they’ve had. In my personal opinion, celebrities aren’t honest about what they’ve had and we all think they look young but they’ve had a lot of help.”
Olivia replied: “A lot of people that are in the public eye have done a little something here or there. But I think the tide is changing, that transparency is becoming a little more culturally acceptable, a little more fashionable. I had some great chats there with mates in the industry who are really candid with me, so I felt really privileged to have those conversations, I think they’re important.”
Setting the record straight
As Josie mentioned the range of celebrities, including Katie Price, Katherine Ryan, and Pete Wicks, Olivia quickly added: “I should put out there, Pete is not someone who has had any surgery, I picked his brain… that is all him!”
When Josie questioned if Pete’s eyes are real, Olivia said: “My mum used to say, she thinks he wears contacts!”
Olivia and Pete confirmed their romance with a holiday post from Ibiza a few months ago. Pete captioned the snaps: “I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA.” His podcast co-host Sam Thompson replied: “Never thought I’d see the day YOU hard launch!! Couldn’t be happier for you brother.”
