Megadeth have confirmed a farewell UK tour, titled 'Breakout: Hibernation of the Nations', set to kick off in March 2027. The metal icons will play eight arena shows across the UK, starting in Belfast and concluding in Leeds.
Tour Dates and Venues
The tour begins on March 9, 2027, at The O2 Belfast, followed by London's OVO Arena Wembley on March 11. Other dates include Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena, Manchester's Co-op Live, Cardiff's Utilita Arena, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Birmingham's bp pulse LIVE, and Leeds' First Direct Bank Arena.
Frontman Dave Mustaine described the tour as a celebration rather than a goodbye, saying: "This isn't about saying goodbye. It's about celebrating everything we've built together over the last four decades."
Ticket Presale and General Sale
Presale tickets go on sale Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10am via Live Nation for My Live Nation newsletter subscribers. A Spotify presale follows at 12pm, available to Spotify subscribers who receive a unique code via email.
General sale begins Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10am through Ticketmaster and Live Nation. VIP and hospitality packages are available via Seat Unique.
