Manchester City begin their European campaign on Tuesday as Enzo Maresca's side open their pursuit of a second Champions League success in Porto. Rebuild Brings New Faces
The Sky Blues have undergone a rebuild as they left the Pep Guardiola era behind, leading to some new faces in their WAG ranks. However, alongside the new faces there are some familiar models ready to cheer on their footballer partners.
Haaland's Partner and City's No.1
Erling Haaland and Isabel Haugseng Johansen represented the same youth club, but it wasn't until Haaland relocated to Germany to join Borussia Dortmund that they made contact, with Haugseng Johansen taking the initiative. "She sent me a message. She played for the same club I played for, Bryne, so she checked me out. I didn't check her out," he told NRK with a grin.
"I was single for quite a while. From my experience, you find your girlfriend when you least expect it. If you're always looking for a girlfriend, you'll never find one." When questioned about what constitutes a romantic evening for the pair, Haaland revealed their mutual interest. He said: "It's going to be quite embarrassing for her that I say this, but she likes to game too. So we game Minecraft together. We just sit and game and make houses together and everything like that. Or we go home to Bryne and order kebabs."
City's No.1 Gianluigi Donnarumma is in safe hands with the jaw-dropping brunette Alessia Elefante, the pair are childhood sweethearts. The Naples beauty once revealed she's a big fan of shopping, with Gucci being her favourite designer. She is also an interior designer. Fernandez's Relationship Drama
Valentina Cervantes has stood beside her man through his career in Argentina, and when he moved across the Atlantic so did the brunette. By the time Fernandez jogged out at Benfica for the first time they had already started a family together, with the pair now having two kids. Reports from Argentina suggest they met while Valentina was studying to be an English teacher.
However, in October 2024, Fernandez and Valentina announced they were going through a divorce, ending their six year relationship. But in late January, the pair were trying to rekindle their relationship. Argentine journalist Daniel Fava claimed Fernandez had discovered that one of his Argentina team-mates tried to seduce Valentina. Their relationship made headlines again last October when Fernandez received a 'flirty' message from super WAG Wanda Nara. However, Valentina denied the story: "Yes, I saw it. No, as far as I know, I haven't seen any messages. No, no, Enzo never spoke to me about anything. No, he never spoke to me about any of that."
Kovacic and Bettinelli Wives
Croatian former supermodel Izabel Kovacic is the wife of Mateo Kovacic, with the pair tying the knot in June 2017 in a luxurious ceremony held in the Croatian capital of Zagreb. Izabel is known as the founder of the fashion brand Lunilou and co-founded an eco-friendly organic baby products brand in 2015. She has also launched her own sustainable luxury fashion line, IZAKOVA.
The second goalkeeping WAG of the list, Nadia Bettinelli is the wife of City's back-up shot-stopper Marcus Bettinelli, who joined City last summer to bolster their home grown quota. Nadia is the better half of the back-up keeper, but she likes to keep her private life private and the pair like to keep their relationship under wraps.
