The National Television Awards 2026 took place tonight at London's O2 Arena, with TV star Joel Dommett returning as host for the sixth consecutive year. The star-studded event saw 15 awards handed out across categories including best TV presenter, best comedy, best drama performance and best authored documentary.
Top Nominations and Contenders
Actress Sheridan Smith was nominated for best drama performance for her portrayal of Ann Ming in the ITV true crime series I Fought The Law. Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's series Stacey and Joe faced tough competition in the reality docuseries category, up against Clarkson's Farm and Fletchers' Family Farm.
Stacey Solomon also competed in the best presenter category, going up against Ant and Dec, Claudia Winkleman, Sir David Attenborough and Alison Hammond. Ant and Dec were aiming to reclaim the title after last year's loss to Gary Lineker.
